Come teach English/Language Arts in a Christian school in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Come for one year or make this your next career if you have at least one year of teaching experience. Ukarumpa International School has 150 students from 16 different countries. We teach an international curriculum in years 7 – 12 including the AP English Literature course. Our students are interested in their studies and work hard. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with and learn from Christian faculty from around the world. It is amazing to realize that while you teach what you love, English, the Bible is being translated into the heart languages of Papua New Guinea by the parents of your students. If you are a child-centered teacher you will love it here. There are plenty of opportunities to share your faith with your students both inside and outside the classroom and get to know your students well.
