Job: School Librarian - High School
Location: Papua New Guinea
Timescale: Starts 01 Jan 2011, full time
Are you a trained librarian looking for a way you can use your skills to further God's kingdom? Ukarumpa International School (UIS) in Papua New Guinea caters almost exclusively to the children of missionaries who are involved in translating the Bible into the local languages that don't yet have access to God's Word in their own language. The school is situated in the beautiful highlands of PNG and has an enrolment at the secondary campus of approximately 150 children. The library at this campus needs an experienced librarian with the skills to further develop the book and other media collection. Parents relax and can concentrate on their work much better if their children's education needs are being met. Come and join the team of dedicated teachers at UIS who are helping get the Scriptures to the people of PNG by using their skills to teach missionary kids. Interested? This position is not salaried.
